“Copyright Protection in the Digital Age” Workshop
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina A2K Project has organized a workshop on copyright protection in the digital age that took place in the period September 29 to October 1st , 2009. The workshop discussed the options and alternatives to access and disseminate knowledge such as Free and Open-Source Software, Open Access, and Creative Commons, in addition to the protection of software and database in Egypt.
The workshop included three sessions about Creative Commons, the CC licenses in Arabic in Jordan and Egypt, focusing on Creative Commons licenses format, color coding and some frequently asked questions about Creative Commons.
